Taqado needed a restaurant design that would capture the energy of Mexican street food culture while working within a compact 624 sq ft footprint at one of Dubai's most popular beach destinations. The space needed to handle high foot traffic, maintain brand consistency, and create an inviting atmosphere for both dine-in and takeaway customers.
The primary challenge was creating a design that felt expansive and inviting despite the compact floor area. The beachside location added complexity with environmental considerations, while the brand required a design language that was bold and recognizable without overwhelming the intimate scale of the space.
We combined warm wood tones with industrial accents and vibrant Mexican-inspired color touches to create layers of visual interest. Smart spatial planning maximized seating capacity while maintaining comfortable circulation. Custom joinery elements — built in our in-house fabrication facility — ensured every millimeter was optimized for both aesthetics and function.
