Our story
Precision engineering, interior artistry
Founded by Eng. Joy Panikulam, Ideal Group began its journey over two decades ago in the construction industry. What started as a specialized manufacturer of fire-rated and acoustic doors grew into one of the UAE's most respected names in precision engineering and interior craftsmanship.
In 2002, Joy brought the Group's expertise to the UAE, establishing Ideal Special Products in Ajman Free Zone. The division earned authority approval across the GCC for its high-performance fire and acoustic doors — a testament to the engineering rigor that defines everything Ideal touches.

Today, the second generation — Antony and Ritu — lead Ideal Fitouts with the same commitment to quality, now applied to luxury interior design and turnkey fit-out solutions. Backed by a full joinery facility and a multidisciplinary design team, Ideal delivers end-to-end solutions for retail, hospitality, office, and residential spaces across the UAE.
